We speak mograph. Creative Directors Doug Brandt and Kevin Childress has made a large part of their careers on the ideation, execution, and integration of motion graphics into the art of movie trailers. Doug helped found the design department of Ignition Creative where he built the department from the ground up as Design Director. More recently, as CEO/Creative Director of Ant Farm, Doug oversaw the formation of Antenna Creative which broke off to become an independent design studio. Under Doug’s leadership Antenna created massive installation motion graphics for Audi, GM, Marvel, and Activision - as well as brand identity work for major corporations such as Amazon Studios and Pepsi.
While CEO/Creative Director of Ant Farm, MONSTER Creative Director Doug Brandt was commissioned by Amazon Studios to create a logo that would tie together the company’s beginnings, its desire to build a new film community, and stun audiences with its scale and complexity. The 22 seconds of screen magic took a year from ideation to final execution and features thousands of individually animated elements that bring the brand to life.
MONSTER Creative Director Doug Brandt has overseen the creation and execution of many motion graphics pieces across the five-film multi-billion dollar franchise including collaborating with legendary design studio Imaginary Forces on the iconic main titles.
An oldie but a goodie, the one that started the integrated graphics trend in theatrical advertising. The original Spider-Man “Swinging Review” spot made the CLIOS (then Key Art Awards) create a new award category specifically for motion graphics.
